SHARJAH, UAE — Unique Group has acquired Subsea Innovation, based in Darlington, northeast England.
Subsea Innovation, formerly part of Tekmar Group, is a specialist in offshore deck equipment with services including launch and recovery systems, engineering consulting, emergency pipeline repair systems, and special solutions for subsea and renewable energy projects.
Unique Group, which has a global workforce of more than 600 personnel across 18 locations, has built capabilities in subsea survey equipment, diving and life support systems, buoyancy and water weights, unmanned surface vessels, and lifting/mooring.
It has further manufacturing sites in South Africa, the Middle East, and on the Isle of Wight, off southern England.
